September 4th $50 Single-Rebuy Tournament

The 2nd instance of our regular monthly tournament is September 4th in the Blue Hills Room.

Our regular tournament is the first Thursday of each month.

The structure is as follows, and takes into account feedback from our first tournament (thank you).

• Start time 7:00 PM
• $50 buy in for 20,000 chips
• $50 single rebuy for 20,000 (up to one rebuy only)
• Rebuying allowed until first break
• No antes
• 20 minute levels
• Starting blind level: 100/200
• Places paid: four or five depending on turnout
• Expected prize pool: ~$1000, with ~$400 for first

Here's some of our ideas. Not all may actually happen.

• Regular cash games
• A league system -- earn points by playing tournaments to qualify for the championship at the end of the season
• Lots more website features: a calendar, email notifications, RSVPing
• Physical players cards
• "Gimmick Games" -- cash/tournament nights with some gimmick, like 7-2 game, stand up game, or mystery bounties
• Omaha tournament
• Low Baller tournament -- something like $10 buyin and unlimited rebuys
